Health-Focused General Dentist
Madhu Katta was born and raised in India. Her passion for dentistry started when she was a young girl and she frequently followed her father, whose profession was dentistry, to observe him performing dental procedures. In 2001 Madhu graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from SDM Dental College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, one of the renowned dental schools in India. She practiced dentistry in India for more than two years before she relocated with her husband to the United States.
Madhu graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 2010 with a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree and has worked in private practice since then. Madhu began working full-time as a General Dentist in a family-owned office in the Boston area. She enjoys working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Madhu keeps herself abreast of new techniques and approaches to biological dentistry by taking numerous continuing education classes. During her spare time she likes to read, garden, travel, and spend time with her husband and two sons.
Dr. Katta has a SMART certification. This is a Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART)developed by theBenson-Henry Institutein conjunction withHarvard Medical School.
